Oh my god， this book was everything I needed。 It was hilarious at parts， swoony， a bit angsty but just wonderful。 This is definitely my book of the year so far！ Please， please write more romantic comedy。 5 stars from me！ ♥️

I have to say that I was wonderfully surprised at how much I loved this book。 I have enjoyed other L。J。 Shen books in the past， and Vicious is on my list of top ten favorite books。 Now I can add this one， as well。 The fake-fiancee， second chance， and unrequited love on both sides （even if they didn't realize it！） tropes made for perfection。 I never expected to fall in love with this one but I did。 It was well worth the wait and I hope she writes others in the same vein in the future。 Perhaps mor I have to say that I was wonderfully surprised at how much I loved this book。 I have enjoyed other L。J。 Shen books in the past， and Vicious is on my list of top ten favorite books。 Now I can add this one， as well。 The fake-fiancee， second chance， and unrequited love on both sides （even if they didn't realize it！） tropes made for perfection。 I never expected to fall in love with this one but I did。 It was well worth the wait and I hope she writes others in the same vein in the future。 Perhaps more stories about people we met in this one？ Great job， L。J。！ 。。。more

The book was good up until the 50% mark， then it started to get boring。 Also the ending was really cliche。 I loved the heroine’s personality。 I also love the author’s way of writing both the hero and heroine’s train of thought。 It was actually amusing。 Not her best book though。

I loved this story from the start ❤️❤️❤️ Chase doesn’t do relationships and it’s determined not to fall in love。 But after six months apart from Maddie he has a perfect excuse for a second chance only if Maddie will pretend to be his fake fiancé。Chase’s and Maddie’s story is funny， emotional and their banter through the whole book is hilarious！Another great addition to L。J。Sheen books 📚
